Marshall Public Library receives many requests from people around the country for information found only in our newspaper archives. The requests vary from obituaries to historical headlines to the truly bizarre (you found a chassis for a 1930 Moon automobile by the side of the road sometime in the 1950s and you want to find out who the original owner was and how it ended up by the side of the road? We can help with that!).
Finding just the right article is a wonderfully fun and satisfying treasure hunt. If you are interested in joining in the hunt by researching newspapers on microfilm then you are just the volunteer that we are looking for!
