About
Circles is an initiative which helps low-income people become self-sufficient while also giving them the opportunity to be involved in community change efforts. Circles creates relationships across class lines by matching volunteers from the middle class and wealth to a family or individual in poverty, creating a positive and supportive "intentional friendship". Circles meets weekly on Wednesday evenings.
While adults are meeting together to solve problems, create community change, and build friendships, kids are meeting together to learn, grow, form friendships, and build social skills. Come join us as a child care volunteer in this innovative, exciting program that helps end generational poverty! A great opportunity to work with children of all ages, economic classes, races, and levels of ability.
