Woman founded non-profit in support of Washington DC children in need, is seeking volunteers.
Do you love working with people and being surrounded by antiques and beautiful things? CCS is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to staff an upscale Opportunity Shop, located in a Georgetown townhouse. Featuring timeless furniture, household items, collectibles and jewelry. We have been volunteer run since 1933. We are seeking individuals of all ages to join our friendly team; students, retirees and everyone in between!
We are looking for volunteers interested in customer service, merchandise processing, marketing, social media, and/or creative merchandising. Retail experience welcome but not required.
All proceeds support children and families in the DC area. No experience in antiques retail is necessary.
