Be a friend to someone who needs one! Respite & Companion volunteers are matched with an isolated older adult (who either lives alone or with a caregiver) whom they visit once a week for two hours. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and pass a criminal background check and are asked to make a six-month commitment to the program. Volunteers report their monthly hours and attend a 1.5 hour annual training.
