Character Counts Mid Shore needs you on our team of volunteer Character Coaches.
We provide training, mentoring, lesson materials and set up a schedule that is convenient for you to visit classrooms in the public schools. Over 8,000 school age students, and counting, have benefitted from our character education program!

Character Counts Mid Shore, Inc
Established in 1998, CCMS is a non-profit organization that works to espouse positive character development in every aspect of life. Non-political and non-religious, the organization’s mission is to provide and implement a citizen-driven character enrichment program; based on the Six Pillars of Character - Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship, to all citizens in Talbot, Dorchester and Caroline Counties in Maryland. We provide character education to over 8,000 students in public schools at no cost to the schools or the taxpayer.
