Volunteer drivers are the key to independence and safety for our older neighbors who are no longer able to drive. When you give a ride to a medical appointment, grocery store, or the pharmacy you are helping seniors remain connected to their neighborhood and the resources they need to live active, purposeful, and fulfilled lives.
Volunteer drivers can expect to choose a geographic area, set their own hours, attend special training and receive supplemental accident and liability coverage. Consider being a volunteer driver twice a week or once a month. Your service is deeply appreciated by seniors and has a significant impact on their lives.
