Come serve coffee and meet an incredibly interesting group of adults at a downtown low-income housing complex.
Many of the folks who participate in our programs are mentally ill, aging, or disabled. Some are formerly homeless and trying to make the adjustment to living "inside" for the first time in a while. All of them have a story, and it's worthwhile to get to know them.
Coffee & Conversation is one of our most popular volunteer offerings because it offers a relaxed activity with very few requirements other than being friendly and sociable. All of our volunteers work under the supervision of a skilled Resident Services Coordinator.
