After a client's file is created or updated by the Desk Receptionist, the Client Interviewer speaks with the client to get a better picture of the situation and offer assistance and/or referrals for further assistance.

  • Review contents of client file to be familiar with the situation
  • Welcome client in to the interview room
  • Engage a review of the client's situation; affirm client's goals and plan of action
  • Make any phone calls necessary to verify or clarify documents
  • Inform client of FAM's Life Skills classes (a requirement for further assistance)
  • Provide assistance requested
