Junior Achievement of the Triad
Make an exciting difference in the future of Kindergarten - 8th grade students across Forsyth County!
Volunteers are critical to the success of our programs and JA volunteers can impact many students in a short span of time. As a volunteer, you will inspire and prepare young people for their futures and help youth avoid the financial pitfalls so many adults currently face. We have created opportunities for virtual engagement of corporate and community volunteers and have developed digital options for synchronous and asynchronous learning.
A virtual JA volunteer can make an impact in the lives of local students through pre-recorded discussions that supplement the teacher-led JA lessons. Volunteers use JA's fun and easy programs to talk to students and help prepare them for the future.
Junior Achievement of the Triad reached more than 16,000 Triad students last year. Join us and help reach our goal of impacting over 20,000 students this year!

Our mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Our primary purpose is utilizing volunteers' experiences with the business world to enhance students' understanding of business, citizenship, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics and character, financial literacy, and career development. We do our work through strong partnerships with schools and a dedicated volunteer network.
The national Junior Achievement organization was founded in 1919. Our office opened in 1965 with the help of nearly three dozen local business leaders who saw the need for entrepreneurs and schools to partner to better prepare students to be active citizens and workforce members. Since then, our organization has grown from offering an after-school program in Guilford County to offering hundreds of classroom-based financial literacy and economics education programs in five counties: Alamance, Forsyth, Guilford, Randolph, and Rockingham.
We'll work with your schedule.
