The Salvation Army provides emergency food to families through our Food Pantry at 908 Yuma St. We see people daily as they walk through our doors. Most are in desperate need to make it through to their next paycheck. The need is an enormous undertaking, yet we feel our community can help. Every item collected will go to a person in need. Will you help us? The Food Drive opportunity is a simple way to help - anyone can do it! We will provide you with a packet including flyers, posters and a letter of authorization.
Some of the urgent needs include:
* Peanut butter
* Jelly or Jam
* Spaghetti Sauce
* Pasta
* 1 lb. bags of rice
* Beans- canned or dried
* Canned Fruit
* Tuna
* Canned Chicken
* Canned Salmon
* Other items may include Baby Diapers all sizes, Baby Wipes, Hygiene products including soap, shampoo and feminine products.

Description
The Salvation Army serves populations, of all ages and backgrounds and successfully administers a large range of programs with essential services for struggling families and individuals. The programs include: The Salvation Army homeless shelter and hot meal program including active case work and veteran housing; senior nutrition and fellowship services for low-income and the community in general; youth character-building after school and summer day camp programs; seasonal assistance to families, emergency food, clothing and utilities assistance.
