Volunteer Directly in multiple settings and geographical locations, by request
Beaumont Hospice Story Keepers are specially trained volunteers who facilitate the recording of our hospice patients' life stories on DVD or audio. This valuable legacy is then passed on to loved ones as a cherished family history for generations to come.

Experience with photography, film and/or basic editing software is preferred.
Training will be provided, however those who apply MUST have computer literacy and be willing to travel to the patient's home to record requested content. All editing and DVD completion will take place at our office in Troy, MI.

Description

Beaumont Hospice is a joint venture between Alternate Solutions Health Network (ASHN) and Beaumont Health, serving the counties of Macomb, Oakland, Wayne and parts of Monroe. Hospice is a special way of caring for individuals with life-limiting illnesses, providing comfort and support to the patients and their families. Hospice helps patients to live their final days in dignity, comfort, and peace.
