BEAUMONT HOSPICE - Friendly Visitor - Wayne County

Cause Areas

It's flexible! We'll work with your schedule.

1410 East 14 Mile RoadMadison Heights, MI 48071

Beaumont Hospice Friendly Visitors provide companionship, emotional support and/or respite sitting (providing family members with a break for approximately 2 hours to do errands or rest). Volunteers have the opportunity to reach out to home patients in many unique and rewarding ways. During visits, hospice volunteers may listen, talk with, or read to patients. They may play cards or watch a movie together. A volunteer becomes a valuable resource to each patient and family during this very difficult time. If you are interested in becoming a Beaumont Hospice Home Patient Volunteer, please call us at 248-743-9409 or apply at under the volunteer section.

We care for both adult and pediatric patients. You choose who you are comfortable visiting.

New Volunteer Trainings are held at various locations to accommodate applicants from all over our service area! Contact Justine Galat at to inquire when the next training will be held near you!
