Help our books, please!

Are you a book lover? Would you love to share the joy of book ownership with others?

Consider spending some quality volunteer time carrying out the day-to-day operations of our totally FREE book shop. Help community members locate books, stock shelves, and sort incoming donations as part of our volunteer network. Be one of the many smiling faces of Literacy Volunteers as we promote book ownership in Wayne County!

The only requirements are the ability to lift up to 20 lbs, and the ability to stretch, reach, climb small latters, bend at the waist, and other acitivities associated with sorting books. Special accomodations will be made if possible.

Contact us today to see about getting started!

Can't make it to Lyons all that often? Consider one of our other volunteer opportunities, the Little Green Bookshelf program, which involves giving away books in your local community in Wayne county. Check out the listing here on Volunteer Match.
