Transport patients to medical appointments and on errands. Some assignments are routine and some are as needed. Must be caring and compassionate and able to maintain patient and family confidentiality. Some patients may use a walker or occasionally a wheelchair. Must have reliable transportation, and active drivers license, and auto insurance along with room for walker/wheelchair if accepting assignment for that type of patient.

In celebration of the individual worth of each life, we strive to relieve suffering, enhance comfort, promote quality of life, foster choice in end-of-life care and support effective grieving.
Description
Hospice of the Western Reserve provides care for patients where ever they call home, whether that be at home, in a nursing home, assisted living, one of our inpatient units, or in a hospital. Care is provided regardless of ability to pay. We use a team approach where volunteers are of equal importance to all other members of the team.
Hospice of the Western Reserve serves Northern Ohio with offices in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, and Summit counties.CAUSE AREAS
