Looking to get experience in the nonprofit world, get involved in your community, grow your resume and have fun at the same time? Join the 2016 Northern Colorado Jingle Bell Run Committee and get hands-on experience in areas like public relations and marketing, volunteer recruitment, community outreach, and much more!

As a member of the committee, you will be a big part of making the Northern Colorado Jingle Bell Run a success. It’s a great opportunity to build your resume and have fun while doing it! Planning will start shortly and we want you to join the Planning Committee to make this Northern Colorado holiday tradition even more fun and successful than years past!

The Jingle Bell Run is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide holiday run and walk event, raising both awareness and funds to fight arthritis - one of the nation’s leading causes of disability. Participants include individuals, families, companies and community teams... all who attach bells to their shoes to make a difference at their local event.

The JBR Planning Committee collaborate with staff and volunteers to create and implement the vision of the event. We are looking for committee members to help in many areas, including: marketing and publicity; team recruitment; canvassing; food and beverage donation procurement; social media; and mission delivery at the event.

Meetings are held every month for approximately an hour and a half, with much of the work being done between meetings and at members' availability. The Northern Colorado Jingle Bell Run will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016.

This committee is a fun and rewarding way to support people with arthritis in our community. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity and want to be a part of a great and energetic team please contact Tricia Bonman at pbonman@arthritis.org.
