Have fun interacting with kids and families in a very active, fast paced environment, guiding them through exhibit activities at their own pace, and letting them explore and discover things about the world around them.
We are particularly looking for volunteers during weekday mornings.

Mission Statement
WOW! Children’s Museum engages all families in educational, hands-on experiences that connect curiosity, creativity, and discovery.
Description
Since 1996, WOW! Children's Museum has served over one million visitors from throughout Colorado with quality, creative educational exhibits, programs and events for children and families. Founded in Louisville by community members who understood the importance of play in children's learning, WOW! was created to provide young children and families with a safe place to explore science, art, culture, music, practical life role-playing, and the dramatic arts through play. With support from the City of Lafayette, we relocated in 2004 to the old Lafayette fire station, and typically see nearly 80,000 visitors a year. Our exhibits are interactive in nature, designed to encourage learning through play and exploration -- from a child-sized Town Square with a bank, market and clinic, to an outdoor garden with tree stumps to climb and a 'mud kitchen' to get messy. We strive to be an inclusive learning environment. Through our Play For All program, we proudly offer low-cost memberships, field trips and visits to the Museum for families on public assistance, as well as programming for children of all abilities.
