Garden club needed.
If you love playing in the dirt, this project is for you.
We are looking for a Garden Club or just individuals who love playing in the dirt, to maintain flowers and plants at Hard Labor Creek State Park in front of several entrances around the park. We need these areas maintained free of weeds etc. The Friends group will provide the tools needed if you will provide the labor. This is an ongoing project, and would really make a difference in the first impression of the park. That difference could be you. If you are interested, please get in touch with me.

Our mission is simple. We partner with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, local community and business leaders and community volunteers to promote, support, improve and preserve Hard Labor Creek State Park.
Description
Hard Labor Creek State Park, a chapter of Friends of Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites, is a group of local volunteers who work to support Hard Labor Creek State Park in numerous ways. Our volunteers often help out with special events, improvement projects and maintenance tasks at the park. Through partnerships with local business and community leaders, we help fund site improvements, maintenance needs and interpretive programming.
