About Life-Line Convalescent Ministries
The sick and elderly are often the most neglected people within our community. Many are forgotten by their families, treated poorly, and left to die alone; not the way Jesus intended. These people are truly the widows and orphans of our time.

Life-Line Convalescent Ministries was founded in February of 2000 with a vision to minister in local San Diego convalescent and retirement communities and beyond.* Our mission is to communicate God’s love in order to share the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

We provide non-denominational services in the form of Bible studies, church services and friendly room visitation. All church services are based on the Word of God. Grief counseling is also provided through Life-Line Ministries. (We recommend GriefShare, a national program offered in many churches throughout the country.)

Description & Requirements
As a Life-Line grant writer, you will be able to put your skills to good use in a huge way. (And, you will be able to do this from the comfort of your own San Diego home.) Providing funds for Life-Line will provide tremendous opportunities, not only to help support the few full-time staff in travel, training, and organization expenses, but providing for the day-to-day needs of our local elderly. We find that many of our elderly are in need of socks, especially during the colder months, wheelchairs, Bibles, basic CD players, and other small items that may be requested.
