Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum
You can be instrumental in educating Maui's students about the rich history of the sugar industry and plantation life on our island. Tour Guides (docents) lead groups of elementary school students on informative tours of the Sugar Museum. This beloved program, which began in 1990, fulfills DOE requirements and provides an important cultural learning opportunity for our keiki (young children).
Current schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m., September through April. This is an on-call and seasonal opportunity--You choose the Tuesday or Thursday you would like to volunteer! Training provided.
Benefits of volunteering at the Sugar Museum include: Mileage stipend, museum passes, discount in Plantation Store, appreciation luncheon.
We'll work with your schedule.
