Volunteers are an essential part of our hospice team. Some volunteers work directly with the patients, while others support the hospice staff in the office with clerical functions. Office volunteers work 1-3 hours per week, on weekdays. Typical activities include copying and assembling materials, sending bereavement letters, and planning our annual memorial event. No special skills needed. Training will be provided. Training is provided, quarterly on a Saturday in our Flower Mound office. The next training will take place in Summer 2017. Date will be determined by end of May.

Arcy Hospice, formerly known as Ardent Hospice, is a community-based hospice program. We care for people who are at the end of life's journey where they live - at home, assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
Arcy Hospice has a dynamic team of staff and dedicated volunteers. It is part of the Arcy Healthcare family of companies which include MaximaCare Home Health, Arcy at Home and Arcy Supportive Care. In December 2022, Arcy was certified as a "Great Place to Work." Arcy was voted #13 in small businesses in Dallas Morning News' contest, Top 100 Places to Work 2019. Arcy Hospice appeared on the list in 2015 and 2016, as well.
