Cuts & styles patients’ hair. Has current hair dresser’s license and is caring & compassionate and able to maintain patient confidentiality. Should be familiar with working with bedbound patients (though not all patients are bedbound). May be asked to see a patient who is in the In patient unit, in a care facility or in the patients' private residence. Volunteer may reject any assignment without judgment. Volunteer may set parameters on how frequently they are called or how far they are willing to travel in order to assist a patient.

Description
Hospice of the Western Reserve provides care for patients where ever they call home, whether that be at home, in a nursing home, assisted living, one of our inpatient units, or in a hospital. Care is provided regardless of ability to pay. We use a team approach where volunteers are of equal importance to all other members of the team.
Hospice of the Western Reserve serves Northern Ohio with offices in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, and Summit counties.CAUSE AREAS
