Cuts & styles patients’ hair. Has current hair dresser’s license and is caring & compassionate and able to maintain patient confidentiality. Should be familiar with working with bedbound patients, though this is not always the case. You may be asked to see a patient in one of our in patient units, in a care facility or in the patients' private residence. Volunteer gets to make a decision on how frequently they accept assignments and how far they are willing to drive and where they are willing to see patients.

Description
Hospice of the Western Reserve provides care for patients where ever they call home, whether that be at home, in a nursing home, assisted living, one of our inpatient units, or in a hospital. Care is provided regardless of ability to pay. We use a team approach where volunteers are of equal importance to all other members of the team.
Hospice of the Western Reserve serves Northern Ohio with offices in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, and Summit counties.CAUSE AREAS
