The sale will include household items, furniture, artwork, jewelry & collectables. Volunteers are needed in several capacities. Volunteers can chose to work which task bests suit their interests and talents from: distributing flyers, seeking donations, contacting donors, view & arrange transport of items to the warehouse, attend estate sales, cleaning & staging of donations in an inviting way, doing pricing research online for antiques, and unique items. Help the day of the sale may include greeting shoppers, carrying items to the register, packing things up, and running the sales register (manual). Some tasks require prior experience/skill like deciding how furniture will be staged. Other tasks include physical labor like moving, carrying & transporting items. Must be a team player & friendly and willing to learn about the services we offer as many people who want to make donations of items or come to the sale like to share their stories on how hospice helped them.
