Express Yourself through Art, Dance, and Music

Karina Association Inc. is a non-profit organization helping disabled children and young adults. We are looking for volunteers to join our team to assist us in our expressive arts therapy sessions. We provide supervision and training with Board Certified Expressive Arts Therapists. The hours are flexible and vary depending on the needs. If you have talent in Art, Dance, Drama, Music, Voice, and Drumming, please contact us. Qualifications: Have a heart to work with disabled teens and young adults. Description

Community Development of A Meaningful Day -- Participants develop and maintain employment skills related to community membership through engagement in Garden/Agricultural at the MARC, 1114 Shawan Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030. Our program provides transitional and vocational training for individuals (16+) in the science and art of gardening. Cooking classes provided by Chef Chris teach different cuisines, healthy cooking, nutrition, safe cooking and enjoyment of preparing food for the hungry. Farm to Chef to Table at Karina Cafe encourage students to appreciate the taste and benefits of fresh food by introducing them to the basic elements of taste and learning about food’s journey from farm to table.

ARTS AND CRAFTS E-COMMERCE MARKET PLACE -- Self-Employment Development Support services are open to the public for arts and crafts created by our participants of all abilities.
