At The Salvation Army Volunteers Help in the Kitchen/Food Service

The Food Service Department's goal is to prepare healthy, delicious meals for families, seniors, homeless individuals and everyone needing a meal.

Your volunteer service will directly impact several programs including the Senior Center Luncheon, Shelter, After School and Summer Day Camp programs.

Duties include assisting staff with food preparation, serving, set up and tear down, and cleaning.

This opportunity is available Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:00 pm. Come for 1 day or more and bring your friends; groups are welcome.

Training on food service practices and methods will be made available. Your previous experience and professional skills are a plus.

Description
