Interlakes Community Caregivers is looking for volunteers to act as Neighbor Liaisons.
Neighbor Liaisons support our mission to help individuals live independently in their own homes and in their daily lives. This person meets with a new neighbor to introduce them to the program and complete the paperwork necessary to register for the many free services we provide. Neighbor Liaisons also visit our neighbors to ensure we are providing the services they need.
Our services are provided by volunteers and include transportation to medical or personal appointments, help with grocery shopping, running errands, minor household chores, and friendly visits or telephone calls. We serve individuals who live in Center Harbor, Meredith, Moultonborough, and Sandwich.
Volunteer requirements include successful completion of the ICCI Volunteer Education Course (one three-hour session). If you are reliable, patient, observant, and communicate effectively, as a Neighbor Liaison you will ease our neighbors' efforts to remain independent and live the best quality of life possible. Thank you for your interest.
