Become a Volunteer Driver and help your neighbors to remain independently living in their own homes.
We serve individuals who live in Center Harbor, Meredith, Moultonborough, and Sandwich who need just a little bit of help to remain living in their own homes. Services includes rides to medical appointments (both local and long distance) and personal appointments, help with grocery shopping, and running errands.
Rides are primarily within the Lakes Region, but let us know if you are available for longer drives to Concord, Manchester, Lebanon, Portsmouth, and Boston.
Rides are provided in your personal vehicle and the schedule is flexible - Choose when you want to drive. Mileage reimbursement is available and we also offer reimbursement for parking or tolls.
Requirements include successful completion of the ICCI Volunteer Education Course and background checks, a current driver’s license, a clear and safe driving record, documentation of current auto insurance, and a car that remains in good condition.
Services must be timely and reliable in order to fully meet the needs of the individuals we serve.

Description
Interlakes Community Caregivers, Inc., a 501(c)3 volunteer nonprofit organization founded in 1998, provides nonmedical supportive services and community information to our neighbors to assist them in their daily lives. Through these services, individuals are able to more easily stay independent in their own homes and in their own community. Services include rides to medical and personal appointments, help with errands such as grocery shopping, and more. There is no charge to our neighbors for these services, nor do we receive any insurance reimbursement or state or federal agency funding, so we rely solely on charitable giving.
