Cat Socialization is the largest volunteer program at AAS.Cat Socialization Volunteers interact with the cats in Kitty Country, helping to alleviate an animal’s stress during its time at the shelter.As a result of this socialization, cats adjust better to the environment and are able to be more friendly and outgoing with potential adopters.Socialization also helps cats enjoy a smoother transition to their new homes and families after they have been adopted.
