The Kane Street Community Garden is looking for volunteers to assist with soil preparation, planting, weeding, tending, composting, and harvesting. Tasks vary by season.
Volunteer Hours:
Monday & Thursday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Volunteers can take home free produce on harvest days. Volunteers must dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes. This opportunity is perfect for individuals, groups, and families. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Kane Street Community Garden is a program of The Hunger Task Force. With help from volunteers like you the garden grows almost 30,000 pounds of produce each year. The produce is distributed to the community free of charge.
