Description

Global Women’s Leadership Network is looking for Videographers for ad-hoc projects to capture and create videos to help document our events and activities. You may be asked to trecord interviews and presentations given by GWLN leaders, special guests or graduates from our leadership program. Then, you’ll edit the footage to create short video clips that will be used in GWLN’s marketing materials, website and social media channels. This is a great way to fine-tune your video development and editing skills and get your work seen by a broad audience.

Volunteers must meet critical deadlines and be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, collaborative, adaptable and must possess a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities
Attend GWLN events as needed Capture and create videos to document program events and activities Record presentations and interviews given by GWLN leaders or graduates Edit the footage and create short video clips that will be used for marketing purposes Complete and provide video clips for review within 2 weeks (negotiable) to GWLN

Skills Required
Experience with editing, creating and producing video/film clips Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, iMovie, Final Cut Pro. QuickTime and other video editing tools Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups Effective communicator and troubleshooter Ability to make decisions, recommend solutions and follow through with minimal supervision Be able to meet deadlines and possess a strong sense of responsibility Equipment Requirements Digital Video Camera Computer with DVD Burner Microphone (for interviews) Tripod Work Environment Flexible hours Can work virtually, except when recording presentations or interviews

Compensation
This position is a volunteer position.
