Puppetry Arts is hosting an outdoors puppet festival Saturday June 22 11am-2pm
Assist with set up, run crafts and activities, and breakdown.
Lunch is provided.
Guests include lots of puppeteers R2D2 and Darth Vader of Star Wars
Volunteer CHOICES two shifts:
9am-2pm
OR
11am-3pm
Groups welcome
Kids 16yo and up welcome

Description
Puppetry Arts New York (Puppetry Arts) was established in 1997 to supplement cultural programming in neighborhood schools, shelters, and foster care facilities by introducing the work of emerging artists and teachers in the discipline of puppetry. The organization provides affordable and accessible creative arts programming by collaborating with teachers, PTAs, principals, social workers, community leaders, and fellow organizations in four areas of focus: Puppetry Arts In Education, Theatre, Community Events, and the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP!).
