Conservation Intern
approx. 8-20 hours per week for 3 months
Responsibilities: Program work, outreach, wildlife conservation, land preservation and environmental justice programs. Some possible work in the field or at the Triple C Ranch. For course credits and volunteer work only.
Triple C Ranch Intern
Weekend and weekday hours, 8-20 hrs/week for 3 months
Responsibilities: Animal care, ecotours & public outreach, conservation work, and general maintenance at the Triple C Ranch, the last working farm in Edison, New Jersey. Some physical labor required. Must be comfortable working with farm animals. Relevant experience is helpful but not required. For course credits and volunteer work only.
Multimedia Intern
approx. 8-20 hours per week for 3 months
Responsibilities: Qualified candidates needed to help nonprofit organization develop its multimedia program, including expanding our websites and blogs to incorporate videos (http://WildNewJersey.tv; http://NewGreenMedia.tv), social networking and social media, podcasts, video production and interactive content. Relevant experience is highly recommended.
*Qualified Multimedia Intern candidates may be eligible for hourly pay.

Mission Statement
The Edison Wetlands Association (EWA) is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to protecting human health and the environment in central New Jersey and beyond through education, public awareness, and action.
Description
The major focus of EWA is land conservation, environmental education, and protection of natural resources, including preserving the last farm in northern Middlesex County- the Triple C Ranch and Nature Center. The EWA is also the state's sustainability leader and promotes recycling and conservation of open space. The EWA hosts many programs at its Triple C Ranch and Nature Center that offer excellent volunteer opportunities. The EWA's programs also include environmental equity and justice for wealth-challenged communities.
