Memory Bears
help us

If you enjoy sewing and have your own machine, help create a legacy gift by making Memory Bears for family members who have lost a loved one. These beautiful bears are made from the favorite clothing or cherished blankets of our adult and pediatric patients and given to family members in the grieving process. Memory Bears bring comfort and remembrance to those who have experienced loss, as well as gratification to the volunteer who has created this beautiful and lasting treasure. Projects will be completed in the volunteer’s own home. Most fabrics will be provided. Please note that although you will be making the bears from the comfort of your own home, our service area is Los Angeles and Orange Counties and you should fall within a reasonable driving distance to allow for fabric drop off and pickup by staff.
