: If you are a people person and enjoy being the source of information and referrals, the front desk reception position may be a rewarding opportunity for you. Visitors and callers form a first impression of Braille Institute based on the attitude of the person at the front desk. You will be answering phones, greeting students and guests, making appointments, writing out student and volunteer absence forms and handling other various clerical tasks. Training will be provided.

Description
Braille Institute offers a variety of services to people who are blind and visually impaired, from mobility and technology training, to low vision rehabilitation and home visits, to arts and exercise classes, to a vast library of braille and audio titles for every age, and more. Each year, we help tens of thousands of people regain and maintain their independence. Thanks to generous donations, Braille Institute services are available free of charge.
