Homestead Hospice volunteers offer support to our hospice patient and families. You may be reading, just visiting, offering a kind smile to someone who may have no family at all!

Enrich the lives of others while enriching your OWN life.

We try keep you within 5-10 miles of your home and we only ask for a weekly commitment of 1 hour.

Please note that a 2-step TB test, drug screen, and background check are required for all Homestead Hospice volunteers. Volunteers are also asked to make at least a 6-month commitment to volunteer with us.

Our volunteers are able to provide quality, compassionate care through assisstance with many challenges of a terminal illness.

Our volunteers offer companionship, respite care, office support and bereavement care.
