A few hours of your time can make a difference to a lonely patient!

Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care is looking for volunteers to provide in-home visits to hospice patients, or administrative support in our Portage office. Your caring presence allows family members the chance to run errands or keep appointments, or lonely patients to have visits from a new friend.

Our program provides training to volunteers and offers ongoing education, recognition and support.

About Compassus Hospice

Location:

5220 Lovers Ln., Suite 140, Portage, MI 49002, US

Mission Statement

We are inspired to provide innovative home-based, end-of-life care in Michigan that connects patients, families and caregivers in the most profound, healing ways.

Description

Compassus provides care state-wide through Michigan, including Borgess Health System, Genesys Health System, St. John Providence Health System, St. Joseph Health System and St. Mary’s of Michigan.

Many times the most healing setting for patients to receive their care is in the place they call home. While remaining at home at end of life can bring great comfort, it can also require professional care and support.

During those times, Compassus Hospice can make a profound difference in your life or the life of someone you love with our innovative and inspired care.
