Walk sheter dogs in an area around the shelter. The goal is to provide adoptble dogs with exercise, human contact, mental stimulation, and basic commands. During the hot summer days walking is limited to early morning or late afternoon due to the heat. Walking properly on a lease is an important skill that makes a dog more adoptable plus it's good exercise for both the dog and the dog walker.
