ASU Liaison Volunteer Needed

In order to provide our patients and families with the highest level of customer service, we would like to develop volunteers for our Perioperative Ambassador Program. We are seeking individuals who are customer service oriented and able to quickly connect in a compassionate manner with our patients and families. In this role, you will:

*greet at the entrance and escort patients & families to the 4 th floor

Registration desk.

*orient patients & families to our waiting room and what to expect

*ensure that any questions or concerns on the day of surgery are addressed

with the appropriate people

In this role, you will have the opportunity to alleviate anxiety for our patients coming in for operative procedures. You will also interact with registration staff and our Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU).

The hours are 4 pm - 9 pm. Days are flexible. 50 hours minimum service required. (Summer volunteers are welcome).
