Volunteer with Austin Free-Net and teach the skills necessary to become independent computer users, i.e. send emails, search for jobs, get on Facebook. All you need are the skills you used to get to this site and the desire to help others.
In the words of Erma Bombeck, "Volunteers are the only human beings on the face of the Earth who reflect this nation’s compassion, unselfish caring, patience, and just plain loving one another." So support your Austin community by donating your time and talent with us.
