Family Service Association seeking volunteers to drive meals to homebound seniors in the Calimesa/Yucaipa area OR in SW Riverside County (San Jacinto/Hemet.) If you want to make a difference in someone's life, consider becoming a driver for our senior nutrition program.
This program is simillar to Meals on Wheels. Our drivers deliver a warm, nutritious meal to qualified homebound seniors, and also share a friendly smile and conversation. Deliveries are made in the mid-day (or mornings), weekdays only. Drivers need to have a valid drivers license, auto insurance and be live-scanned (background check). Food Handlers card helpful.

Since 1953, Family Service Association has served communities in Southern California with a variety of human service programs including: Child Development, Child Abuse Prevention, Trauma Informed Counseling, Senior and Community Centers, Senior Housing, and Senior Nutrition. Family Service is a not-for-profit social service organization dedicated to meeting the changing needs of families and communities in Riverside County and San Bernardino County regardless of income, ethnicity, gender or socio-economic status. We envision a day when Inland Empire communities have strong families without poverty, hunger or health disparities.
