Are you a caring adult who likes to have fun, work with children and build relationships? This is a great volunteer opportunity for you!
The Brigade Boys & Girls Club is seeking volunteers during their after-school and summer programs. Volunteers can do a variety of activities including, but not limited to, homework help, art, coaching, games room, board games, outside play and photography.
The Brigade is looking for positive adult role models for our youth and teens
We have sites in Wilmington, Hampstead and Jacksonville.
All volunteers must complete a volunteer application, pass a background check and attend volunteer orientation. In addition, a $10 application fee is charged to process the background check.

Description
The Brigade Boys & Girls Club has been serving the Wilmington community for the past 113 years. The Club serves approximately 2,300 youth per year, ages 5-18, in New Hanover and Pender counties, and youth ages 5-14 in Onslow County
The Club provides diversified activities that meet the interest of all young people. Core programs encourage activities with adults, peers and family members that enable kids to enhance self-esteem and fulfill their potential. The Club offers program activities in five areas: Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts and Sports, Fitness & Recreation.
