ORGANIZATION: Voice of Hope Ministries

Voice of Hope's Summer Day Camp is a two month summer program for children in grades Pre-K through 8th grade. Our camp was established to provide a safe haven for children in West Dallas and to lessen the summer learning gap many low-income children face.

Our program provides character development and spiritual growth through Biblical principles and teaching Christian values along with educational support, recreation, creative arts, and field trips

We need wonderful volunteers to assist in classrooms, chaperone on field trips, and lead special activities.

Camp runs June 5th through July 28th

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Volunteer shifts are offered:

8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Breakfast is served @ 8:00 a.m.)

12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Times may vary for chaperoning field trips.

Voice of Hope is a Christian non-profit that serves the Dallas community with the goal of "changing lives, one child at a time".

Core programs include:

  • ASPIRE after school program that provides tutoring, life lessons and a healthy meal each school day to 200 children
  • Summer Day Camp offers a safe and Christ centered program of learning and fun every June - July.
  • Family and Community Services offers fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods, a weekly Women's Bible study and other support services.
