Do you love history? Do you love historic fashions? This is the volunteer opportunity for you! Be a part of living history in our Historic Clothing Show.
The Women's Museum of California is relaunching our beloved Historic Clothing Show to coincide with the opening of our newest original exhibit, 100 Years of 100 Handbags, and we need models to walk in the shows!
Models are needed for two fashion shows opening weekend:
Thursday, June 1 from 5-8pm at the VIP opening of the new exhibit
Friday, June 2 from 5-8pm during Friday Night Liberty
Our collection has women's clothes in sizes ranging from 00-20 plus accessories. Models will be responsible for their own hair and makeup styling.

Description
The Women's Museum of California was founded in 1983 by Mary B. Maschal who recognized the gap in knowledge and lack of women role models in our accepted history and began collecting materials to teach the public. Now, a committed Board of Directors, Staff, and many volunteers and interns work on a variety of programs, events, and exhibits both at the museum and within the community of San Diego County. The WMC is one of 3 standalone Museums in the United States that focuses on the history, experiences, and contributions of women.
