Letter Carrier Food Drive is happening after a 2 year pause due to covid. Volunteers help our letter carriers pick up food Saturday May 14th. Volunteer drivers help make it easier for the letter carrier to distribute mail and lighten their loads. This is a great way to do something with a friend or family member and see the impact this food drive has in helping those less fortunate. Documentation of service hours available. Volunteers will have a choice of designated Post Office stations to work from. Check in time will start at 11:00am or later to coincide with residents placing their food at mailboxes. Your contribution of time, no matter how long you can help is appreciated. Contact kim@unitedwaylee.org or 239-433-7547.
