During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Hearts for Hospice is looking for motivated, compassionate individuals interested in serving those with life-limiting illnesses. Once the limitations of the pandemic or lifted, volunteering with patients can include: quiet conversation, preparing simple meals, taking small walks, memory recording, reading, and other low-key activities. Typically a volunteer devotes an hour or so weekly, but exactly how much time you spend is up to you and your patient.
**With restrictions regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, there are still opportunities to make and send uplifting cards and messages, share artwork, make phone calls, send crafts and handmade items to care for those otherwise isolated at this time.
If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about our volunteer program and the great rewards it offers, please contact us at any time. Pet therapy is also part of the program and available for those with a qualified team.
We are located in Bear River, Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, and Utah Counties.
