Did you know that the owner of Papa John's pizza and the creator of Fogo de Chao were both Junior Achievement kids? Imagine who you could inspire by teaching the Junior Achievement curriculum in Austin area schools?!?

JA is a non-profit organization that partners with volunteers from the community to teach elementary students about their roles as individuals, workers and consumers, and to prepare middle/high school students for key economic and workforce issues they will face. JA’s purpose is to inspire young people to value free enterprise, business and economics to improve the quality of their lives and be workforce ready.

We need 6 volunteers to teach personal finance to high school summer school students. This will take place either at the end of June or the end of July. Volunteers will also be required to attend a training session with a JA employee. Don't worry - you do not have to be a teacher by trade to volunteer. Our curriculum is very easy to learn - Everything you need to know is in our class kit. So, dive in and inspire a young mind with us!
