Interfaith Outreach's food shelf knows that many of our clients, especially senior citizens, struggle to access the food shelf because of limited mobility or transportation barriers. Volunteer Order Takers call assigned food shelf clients, all of whom are seniors or individuals with disabilities who have barriers to accessing the food shelf. The volunteer will go over the Food Request List and ask the individual to identify their needs and prioritize. The volunteer will enter this in our online system and the recipient will then receive the delivery about a week later. Volunteers also refer clients to Interfaith Outreach if they have additional needs outside of the food shelf delivery service.

Twice a month. Flexible as long as you have access to a phone and computer with internet.
