RHWPA Inc. ("Riding for the Handicapped of Western Pennsylvania") is always looking for great volunteers to aid the approximately 100 children in our program. Horse experience or not, kid experience or not, we'll train you to assist our riders ages 3-18 in learning to ride horses. If you are at least 14 years old, able to walk in an indoor arena with rough footing for about 35 minutes, and are strong and able enough yourself to assist a rider on a horse, we'd love to have you! Criminal background check and child-abuse clearances are required; we will walk you through the application process. RHWPA Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit staffed 100% by volunteers.
