At the Sand Springs Home Activity Center we encourage our volunteers to get to know the kids that come here every day after school and to be a postive role model for them. This is done through joining them in sports, assisting with cooking classes, watching movies with them, playing games with them, helping with tutoring, and so much more. Our kids look forward to when outside volunteers come in because it is a truly special opportunity for them to bond with someone who can devote more individual time to them than our staff can. Amazing volunteers are what helps make the Activity Center what it is and we are always looking for new hardworking individuals to help us out!!

Description
The Sand Springs Home Activity Center is a non-profit after school program for children ages 7-18 who live in either the Sand Springs Home or the Sand Springs Family Village.
Every day after school the SSHAC provides snacks, recreational activities, crafts, cooking classes, tutoring, and numerous other activities for the children in attendance.
Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and rewarding environment for all of the children associated with the Sand Springs Home!!
