Heritage Hospice is searching for volunteers to sew Memory Bears, Hearts and/or Pillows from articles of clothing. The bear pattern and materials are provided. Volunteers are able to sew from the comfort of their home at their convenience. Pick up and drop off arranged at convenient site.
The memory items are made from articles of clothing from a loved one who has passed and are given to surviving spouses and children as a lasting memory. Every family who has received a Memory item has been greatly appreciative and thankful for the creative gift.

Heritage Hospice is a family-founded hospice that takes pride in providing our patients with comfort, dignity and peace either in the comfort of their own home or in a skilled facility of their choice.
Hospice care treats the whole person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs in the last phase of life. These services may be provided at home, in an inpatient facility, nursing home or in another setting that best suits the needs of the patient and caregivers. Hospice care helps the person to live at home or in the most comfortable setting as long as possible, stay as active as possible, express and accept feelings, assists the family to care for their loved one, manage practical tasks, deal with stress, provide support and feel at peace.
